The Bondi Road community garden is part of a garden network established by Transition Bondi. In addition to the community Garden at 241 Bondi Road it consist of several verge gardens created around Bondi Beach to share food with the community.
The 241 Bondi Road Community Garden serves as as the educational headquarters for monthly Dig Days, workshops and events. Currently they are in the process of renovating the garden to include an aquaponics system, a honey bee hive, a native bee hive, worm farms, raised garden beds, a glasshouse nursery and rainwater collection tanks in addition to ample space for hanging out and learning.
You can join at 241 Bondi Road for Dig Day on the second Sunday of every month from 10am to noon to get your hands dirty, learn to grow your own food and help build a thriving community garden for all of Bondi to enjoy.
